How to setup Mevo Cam RTMP Live Stream to ViuLive app

Prerequisites:

  1. Mevo Camera app (Mevo 2.0)
  2. Wifi Enabled Smartphone
  3. ViuLive mobile app (IOS/Android)

Step 1: Connect Mevo Cam with ViuLive

  1. Launch the ViuLive app.
  2. Now, Register/Login with your preferred login method.
  3. Tap on “Advanced Live” from the menu.
  4. Then, Select a category based on your stream content
  5. Fill in the stream title and caption.
  6. Tap on the “Add RTMP Streams” button to add an RTMP camera
  7. Also, Tap on “Go Live” and proceed to tap the RTMP option.
  8. Then, Copy the Stream “Server” URL and Stream Key.

Step 2: Setup Mevo Cam & Start Streaming

  1. Firstly, Turn the camera on and launch the Mevo 2.0 app on your smartphone.
  2. The Mevo app will automatically detect the Mevo camera and connect using your smartphone’s network connection.
  3. Also, Tap on the Record button (Displayed Red on the bottom left of your screen)
  4. Tap on the RTMP option.
  5. Tap on New RTMP.
  6. Fill in the stream name (Viulive)
  7. Paste the previously generated Stream URL (highlighted in red) and the Stream Key (highlighted in yellow)
  8. Then, Tap on Add at the top right corner.
  9. Also, Tap on the “Go Live” red button on the top right corner of your screen.
  10. Return to ViuLive app.
  11. Tap on “Start Broadcast”
  12. Then, Tap on “Start”
  13. You are now Live with RTMP and an onboard mobile camera!

How to setup Mevo Cam RTMP Live Stream to ViuLive web

Prerequisites:

  1. Mevo Camera app (Mevo 2.0)
  2. Wifi Enabled Smartphone
  3. Web Browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.)

Step 1: Configure Mevo Cam & ViuLive

  1. Launch the web browser and navigate to the Viulive.com website.
  2. Register/Login with your preferred login method.
  3. Now, Click on “Advanced Live” from the drop-down menu.
  4. Then, Select a category based on your stream content.
  5. Fill in the stream title and caption.
  6. Click on “Add RTMP Streams.”
  7. Also, click “Go Live” and click the RTMP option.
  8. Then, Copy the Stream “Server” URL and Stream Key.

Step 2: Unleashing Mevo Cam’s Streaming Potential

  1. Turn the camera on and launch the Mevo 2.0 app on your smartphone.
  2. Then, The Mevo app will automatically detect the Mevo camera and connect using your smartphone’s network connection.
  3. Tap on the Record button (Displayed Red on the bottom left of your screen)
  4. Also, Tap on the RTMP option.
  5. Tap on New RTMP.
  6. Fill in the stream name (Viulive)
  7. Also, Paste the previously generated Stream URL (highlighted in red) and the Stream Key (highlighted in yellow)
  8. Now, Tap on Add at the top right corner.
  9. Afterward, Tap on the “Go Live” red button on the top right corner of your screen.
  10. Congratulations, you’re LIVE!
